Directions to Plaza Auto Mall
Six dealerships, one stretch of Nostrand Avenue. Plaza Toyota, Plaza Honda, Acura of Brooklyn, Plaza Hyundai, Plaza Kia and Plaza Used Cars all sit in Midwood between Avenue M and Avenue N, so a single trip gets you to every one of them. Choose where you are coming from below and we will show you the quickest way in, by car or by train.
Where Plaza Auto Mall Is
The whole group occupies a short run of Nostrand Avenue in Midwood, between Avenue M and Avenue N. Brooklyn College is roughly five blocks to the north, where Nostrand meets Flatbush Avenue at the Junction, and Kings Highway crosses Nostrand a little way to the south. Know either landmark and you are already most of the way here.
Street numbers run from 2721 to 2800. Plaza Toyota and Acura of Brooklyn share the odd-numbered side of the avenue; Plaza Hyundai, Plaza Honda, Plaza Kia and Plaza Used Cars are on the even side. Numbers rise as you head south, so Plaza Used Cars at 2800 is the first lot you reach when you come up from Kings Highway.
Nostrand Avenue itself does most of the navigating. It runs the length of central Brooklyn, from Bedford-Stuyvesant through Crown Heights and Flatbush down to our block, which means that for a large part of the borough the directions are simply “get on Nostrand and head south.” From outside Brooklyn, the Belt Parkway and Flatbush Avenue bring you within a few turns of the door.
Flying in? JFK is typically 20–30 minutes away along the Belt Parkway, and LaGuardia 40 minutes or more depending on traffic, which makes picking up a car straight off a flight a realistic plan.
Our Six Showrooms on Nostrand Avenue
Every store runs its own sales floor, phone line and service department. If you are driving in for one particular vehicle, call that showroom first and the team will have it pulled up and ready.

Directions from Your Neighborhood
In New York the parkway you end up on matters more than the miles, so we wrote a separate guide for each area our customers drive in from. Every page covers the realistic drive time, the exits worth knowing, where traffic usually backs up, and how to make the trip by subway or bus instead:
More Areas We Cover
Starting from somewhere else? These neighborhoods have their own route guides too:
The Main Routes to Nostrand Avenue
Nearly every trip finishes on one of four approaches. As a rule of thumb, use the Belt Parkway if you are south or east of us, and Flatbush Avenue or Nostrand Avenue if you are north or west.
From the Belt Parkway
Leave at Exit 11N for Flatbush Avenue and drive north past Kings Plaza. Turn left onto Kings Highway, then right onto Nostrand Avenue; the showrooms begin a few blocks up. Best from JFK, southeast Queens, the Rockaways, Nassau County and the Verrazzano.
From Manhattan, the bridges or the BQE
Cross the Brooklyn or Manhattan Bridge, or come off the BQE, and follow Flatbush Avenue south past Grand Army Plaza and Prospect Park. At the Junction by Brooklyn College, pick up Nostrand Avenue southbound and continue about five blocks.
From north and central Brooklyn
Join Nostrand Avenue anywhere in Bed-Stuy, Crown Heights or Flatbush and keep driving south. There is no other turn to make until you reach our block.
From west Brooklyn
From Bensonhurst, Borough Park or Gravesend, take Kings Highway east to Nostrand Avenue, turn left and the showrooms are just ahead.
By subway and bus
Ride the 2 or 5 to the last stop, Flatbush Avenue–Brooklyn College, then take the B44 SBS or B44 local a few stops south on Nostrand Avenue, or walk it in about fifteen minutes. On the B or Q, change at Kings Highway for the B82, which runs along Kings Highway and crosses Nostrand just south of us. From Jamaica, the LIRR to Atlantic Terminal connects directly to the 2 and 5.
Before You Head Over
Coming in for a test drive
A valid driver's license is all you need to take a car out. If you hope to leave with one the same day, add proof of insurance, and for a trade-in its registration plus the title or payoff details. You can settle most of the numbers before you set off: apply for financing online and get an instant offer on your trade.
Coming in for service
Each franchise store has its own factory-trained service department. Book through our service centers page and pick an early drop-off if you are travelling in from another borough, so the car is being worked on while you get on with your day.
Help in your language
Across the six showrooms our team speaks the languages below and more. Mention yours when you call, and we will line up someone who can walk you through pricing, financing and paperwork in it. Coverage varies by showroom and shift, so a quick call ahead is worth it.

Choosing a quieter time
Weekday mornings are usually the calmest on the floor and Saturday afternoons the busiest. For an unhurried comparison of several cars, a weekday before noon is the best bet.

One Trip, Five Brands and a Used Lot
Most dealerships show you a single brand. At Plaza Auto Mall you can sit in a RAV4, a CR-V, an RDX, a Tucson and a Sportage on the same afternoon without moving your car, and without retelling your budget to a new salesperson at every stop. The group has been family-owned on Nostrand Avenue since 1975.
Our pre-owned lots are not limited to our own badges either. Trade-ins arrive from all five boroughs and Long Island, so you will regularly find other makes too:
Bodywork is handled by Plaza Body Shop, and genuine parts for all five brands ship from PlazaParts.com.
